Architecture For Humanity – Auckland Chapter

AFH-Auckland is hosting a travelling exhibition of shortlisted works from Open Architecture Network(OAN) Classroom Challenge at Union Fish Building as part of Auckland Architecture Week  from Sunday 11th October until Sunday 18th October 2009.

Also during the week, as part of this OAN travelling exhibition, AFH-Auckland has invited children from schools in Auckland region to participate in an hour long design charrette, to teach the students about design and architecture in their learning environment.

This is our second year being involved in Auckland Architecture Week.  For the first year’s work in 2007, please check out our projects page.

We are also fundraising to help supporting the people affected by the recent Tsunami in Samoa and Tonga.  Keep your eye out for the green ribbons in boxes at Union Fish Building and also at a number of selected workplaces during  Auckland Architecture Week.
